THE FLOWING BLOOD OF FREEDOM
(The Twin Towers)

Again the field is red with the flowing blood of freedom
Again we must resolve whatever the cost or sacrifice,
That our house of worship is in liberty's kingdom
And we will protect and defend it whatever the price.

Again we must find the will and strength to pledge,
That these dead shall not have died in vain.
Their siblings at Normandy and Gettysburg are our heritage.
Raise your hand, take the oath, to the victory we must gain.

We have been awakened to the evil, and see it clearly.
They hold life without value and seek control through fear.
They would destroy liberty and all you hold dearly.
So raise the flag, we are coming again, make them aware.

As we go forward, testing if we are resolute,
knowing what has to be done, and this time consummated.
Our support for those who fight this fight is absolute,
hold their hands, be with them, until this evil is exterminated.

EPILOGUE
The dove is our desire and we bask in the smile of a child
But when liberty and freedom are threatened with discord
And our very way of life has been defiled,
We know the challenge and how to live by the sword.

OCTOBER 7, 2001 THE COMBAT BEGINS- BATTLE NO. 1- AFGHAN-TERRORISTS

We are now moving again in harms way,
Drawn by an evil act we could not conceive.
So we go forward and advance this day,
Doing what we must to protect what we believe.

If peace, and liberty are to live on this earth,
We will see this fight to its ultimate end.
That what we hold dear will have a rebirth,
And eradication of evil is the message we send.

Not swayed or deterred by what the fanatical proclaim,
They are the pestilence and must be annihilated.
If peace and life may remain the same
No compromise until that evil has capitulated.

Remember the Towers and the lives no longer seeing each day
Hold hands with those who go forward in face of danger.
Let the world know the picture we portray,
Americans all and no longer any a stranger.

With resolution that our history has been predicated,
And a pledge and devotion to stay the course.
No loss or detour will bring any remorse,
Our property and lives to that end is dedicated.

Let our children remember this day as the beginning
And the righteousness of what must be done so clear.
A war approached without hesitation or fear,
Peace and Liberty a fight worth winning.

EPILOGUE
We are our past and that is our future
It is not revenge it is our responsibility.
For the freedom and liberty that we must nurture
Given by those who died with such nobility.
